* The COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. As a result of the lockdown, many of the grant applications received were no longer feasible. Our students decided to approve a grant to assist students who were unable to afford transportation home as their dorms closed. The bulk of our funds ($10,000) was awarded to Feeding Westchester as it became clear that food insecurity was increasing at an alarming rate.
